Celebrate "Reason to Kill"
We're so excited about our own Andy's new book, Reason to Kill and we've come up with some good, healthy, and safe ways to celebrate it.
Join us for our first ever Zoom webinar! And what better way to begin than with the launch for Andy's second book. Reason to Kill is the second Amos Parisman murder mystery; this time, the intrepid semi-retired gum-shoe finds himself embroiled in the world of LA's klezmer scene. On Tuesday, September 22nd at 7pm, he'll be reading from the book before taking questions--some of them from the live Q&A. Please email us (support@readersbooks) to register. Once you register, you should get a passcode to the Zoom webinar. If you run into any issues, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is our first journey into the brave new world of author events so we truly appreciate your patience with us Luddites! And don't forget that he'll be doing a socially distanced signing line in the garden on Friday and Saturday from 3-5.
For those of you who would love a personalized signed copy of Reason to Kill but are maintaining your safety bubble, we'll take down your name or the name you want it dedicated to and have it ready for you--we can mail, do our contactless garden pick-up, or do in-store pick up. To do this option, give us a call! We'll take down your name, number, and to whom the book will be signed. For this option, be sure to have a credit card ready: we'll need prepayment for these.
For those of you willing and able to come on out, we'll be having a (socially distanced) book signing. It'll be 3:00 to 5:00 on Friday, September 25th and Saturday, September 26th in the Readers' Garden. In order to keep a safe flow of people, we're going to ask people to enter through the back gate. We'll have the books for sale (or for pick up in the case of reserved copies) at a table there and we'll monitor the line inside the garden to prevent overcrowding. We'll put out some chairs at six foot distances and help Andy keep his conversations from going on too long. After you've gotten your book signed, you'll head out through the bookstore, making it a one way signing line.
And, if you need to catch up, pick up your copy of An Old Man's Game in order to get ready for Reason to KillI!
