Sonoman Bonnie Lee presents her novel "The Card Game"
Local author and CPA Bonnie Lee presents her novel, The Card Game, at Readers' Books on Wednesday, June 14th, with a reception at 5:30 and a reading at 6 p.m. When a shared friend dies and Minnie, Sarah, and Jeannette are tasked with cleaning out the home of their deceased friend, the three women realize that their lives didn't turn out the way they were expecting; indeed all of them are looking at dead-end futures. The discovery of a cache of credit cards among their friend's belongings offers them a chance to live a little—or maybe a lot! After all, who would track the fraudulent charges back to them? Starting with a road-trip across the US and ending up fleeing debt collectors by going to Spain, this wild ride will sweep readers away.
