Sonoma County guidebook authors Karen Misuraca (Secret Sonoma: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure) and Yvonne Michie Horn (100 Things to do in Sonoma County Before You Die) will be at Readers' Books on Sunday, October 24th at 2pm.

Aimed at both locals and visitors, these books showcase the unusual, oft-overlooked aspects of Sonoma County. From the only cedar bath in North America, to playing "top gun" in a real fighter jet, our county is filled with hidden gems even locals might be unaware of. When planning staycations or mapping out adventures for visiting guests, these books will provide amazing resources.

Both authors are life-long Sonoma County denizens. Karen Misuraca founded DeepCultureTravel.com. In addition to her work as a travel journalist and guidebook author, writes about the curiosities and quirks of California for magazines, newspapers, and online media. She is also a specialist in international golf travel. Yvonne Michie Horn has written for Bon Appetite, Quarterly Review of Wines, and various newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. She maintains two websites, WineryWeddingGuide.com and TheTravelingGardener.com.
